Hello from Knysna Fibreglass
Do any of you have a problem with discoloration of a glass hob? Joy Slaven sent me a solution.
I boiled up a mixture of vinegar and water in a pot which I had burnt and it boiled over onto my lovely Siemens glass-topped hob, but when I wiped the plate, which I had thought was permanently damaged from a cheap frying pan, the milky discolouration had completely disappeared. In fact, when the discolouration reappeared I just sprinkled on vinegar (I might have mixed it with a bit of water), turned the plate on high for a few moments until it was radiantly hot and then wiped it completely clean.
Do you have a cleaning problem or some solution? Please send it to me; I am creating a database for effective cleaning solutions.
