I have a wonderful tip for all your cooking glassware, Cornish, pots and pans with the black bits ( that you cannot get off for all the love or money) put discoloured and marked pots, pans, corning ware and glassware into a black bag, sprinkle about less than ¼ cup of ammonia into bag and tie in a double knot so the ammonia fumes cannot escape – ola! Leave overnight then wash as normal with hot soapy water and glass and pots and pans are like sparkling new.
